Volunteering:Hinckley & Bosworth!

We are currently recruiting new volunteers for the following opportunities:

North Warwickshire & Hinckley College - require assistance with Covid-19 testing when the college re-opens. 

Telephone Befriending - for two schemes in our Borough contacting those who are feeling lonely and appreciated a regular call/friendly chat. 

Walking Befrienders/Active Friends (social distance walking for those who have recently been shielding/isolating and need some confidence to go outside, get active/walking again). We have also recently included New Age Kurling activities which run in line with the current social distancing guidelines. 

Digital Champions - Age UK are looking for people to support those who need assistance with technology. This will enable people to keep in contact with their friends/family and know more about online shopping. 

Hinckley & Bosworth Community Transport (Dial a Ride) - Looking for volunteers to assist in the social car scheme which is known as Dial a Ride. This involves volunteers using their own cars to provide door-to-door transport for elderly and disabled residents of the Hinckley & Bosworth area.

Vaccination Marshals -  registration is temporarily closed due to an overwhelming response! Please keep checking for when this is open again.
